Kimberly Jagos is a Massachusetts-based artist and BFA graduate from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Printmaking. Influenced by their rural life they use the equine figure as a metaphor for the complexity of human experience. Transcending the paper's surface- is a visual hymn to the familiarity of home juxtaposed with the impulse to flee. This simultaneous stability and changeability appears throughout Jagos's practice.
